The shells are made from plied Australian blackwood and topped off with a brilliant black sassafras exotic finish. The Candy Black-to-Natural Laquer burst and black nickel hardware complete the look of this gorgeous drum kit.  If you're looking for a warm, punchy kit that has natural power in the lower frequencies, this kit is for you. DW has only built 200 of these sets, and each one is numbered and signed. The Tasmanian Timber is offered in a preconfigured 6-piece set and à la carte snare drums.
