Description

A unique piece of Gibson history! This late-1970s Gibson “The Paul” is a classic Norlin-era model known for its natural wood finish, distinctive body shape, and straightforward, no-nonsense design. This vintage Gibson shows signs of age and use consistent with a well-played instrument. There is an area on the back of the guitar where the finish has worn away, exposing the wood underneath. Please see photos for a closer look at this area and the overall cosmetic condition. The guitar features the classic dual-humbucker configuration, Tune-O-Matic-style bridge, individual volume and tone controls, and the unmistakable “The Paul” headstock. Its natural wood appearance and late-'70s construction make it a particularly interesting alternative to the more common Les Paul models. Overall, this is a great opportunity to own a genuinely vintage Gibson with plenty of character. The existing finish wear adds to its played-in, road-worn appearance and tells the story of an instrument that has seen some use.
