beyerdynamic | DT 73 IE - For classical and keyboard instruments
Description
When every nuance matters, your in-ear monitors need to deliver accuracy without compromise. beyerdynamic DT 73 IE in-ear monitors are purpose-built for orchestral musicians, pianists and keyboard players, offering a linearly tuned response, ultralow distortion and exceptional detail thanks to its TESLA.11 driver system. With a wide frequency range from 5Hz–40kHz, up to 131dB SPL and an incredibly low 0.02% THD, it captures the full depth and expression of your performance. Designed for both stage and studio use, it combines high-resolution sound with outstanding isolation and a compact, ergonomic fit for reliable monitoring in any environment.
TESLA.11 Driver for High-Resolution Performance
At the core of the DT 73 IE is beyerdynamic’s TESLA.11 dynamic driver, engineered for superior detail retrieval and minimal distortion. Unlike traditional balanced armature designs, it delivers precise impulse response and natural dynamics, ensuring every articulation is reproduced with clarity. A physically linear bass and midrange response preserves the integrity of your instrument, while a subtle high-frequency lift adds presence and definition without sounding harsh or exaggerated.
Ergonomic Design With Exceptional Isolation
Comfort and isolation are critical for long sessions and loud stages. The DT 73 IE features a compact housing based on extensive ear-shape research, resulting in a secure, comfortable fit that stays consistent during performance. With up to -39dB of passive noise isolation, it helps protect your hearing while allowing you to focus on your mix. Multiple ear tip options—including silicone and Comply foam—ensure a personalized fit for optimal sound and comfort.
Built for Professional Use from Stage to Studio
Handmade in Germany, the DT 73 IE reflects beyerdynamic’s commitment to precision craftsmanship and durability. Its robust, dust- and waterproof IP68-rated construction stands up to demanding environments, while the detachable cable with gold-plated MMCX connectors ensures a secure and reliable connection. Designed in collaboration with sound engineers, it delivers consistent performance across live and studio applications, making the beyerdynamic DT 73 IE a dependable IEM choice for musicians who demand accuracy, comfort and long-term reliability.
