Description
The Zildjian K Series 5-Piece Cymbal Pack features cymbals with the coveted traditional K sound. Known for their rich, warm tone and dark profiles, K Zildjian cymbals have been the choice of leading drummers in jazz, rock, and country since their 19th-century origins. This essential cymbal pack provides a 14" K Hi-Hat pair, 16" K Dark Crash, 18" K Dark Crash, and 20" K Ride—the perfect combination for any style. The Zildjian K Series 5-Piece Cymbal Pack lets you tap into the "dark side" of cymbals and experience their unmistakable expressiveness.
K Hi-Hats Deliver Crisp, Clean Chick
The 14" K Hi-Hat cymbals in this pack provide tight, crisp articulation and clean chick sound. Their medium-thin weight allows for controlled response while maintaining the K series' signature warmth. The hi-hats cut through dense mixes with clarity yet blend well with the other cymbals.
Dark Crashes Sing With Complex Overtones
The 16" and 18" K Dark Crashes feature hammering techniques that yield complex overtones, rich sustain, and a musical quality often described as "dark." Their lower profiles provide a wash of sound with a gradual swell and decay. The crashes sing with a robust, vintage-inspired tone that enhances any style of music.
K Ride Offers Distinct Ping and Sizzling Spread
The 20" K Zildjian Ride provides a clear ping, controllable spread, and sizzling sustain. Its medium weight and hammering allow for riding patterns from tight control to open washes of sound. The large bell brings out the cymbal's full tone for accents. The spread opens up at the edge but remains complex, not brash.
