High-Resolution Drivers Deliver Faithful Sound

Custom 45 mm dynamic drivers with CCAW voice coils and neodymium magnets reproduce audio across an extended 15Hz–28kHz frequency range with accurate response and precise stereo imaging. Yamaha engineered every acoustic component to minimize unwanted resonance, helping vocals, instruments and complex mixes remain faithful to the source during recording, editing and production. The closed-back circumaural design also provides excellent passive isolation, allowing confident monitoring in studio and live production environments.

Large protein-skin leather ear cushions and low-resistance padding provide lasting comfort while maintaining excellent passive isolation for critical listening. A three-dimensional arm pivot and adjustable headband conform naturally to different head shapes, helping reduce fatigue during long recording, editing and mixing sessions.
