Waves IONIC 16 Digital Stage Box

Elevate your live sound with the Waves IONIC 16 digital stage box. Designed to seamlessly integrate with the Waves eMotion LV1 live mixer, this 16-input/12-output stage box delivers superb audio quality with uncompromising punch and clarity in any performance scenario. Whether you're playing clubs, theaters or arenas, IONIC 16 ensures your sound cuts through with professional fidelity.

Signature Preamps With Unmatched Sonic Performance

At the heart of the IONIC 16 are Waves' meticulously engineered Signature Preamps. These fully discrete analog circuits with custom gain staging provide incredible headroom to handle hot signals without clipping transients. You'll experience lightning-fast response along with an ultra-low noise floor for pristine sonic purity. With your choice of pure preamp tone or analog-modeled harmonic enrichment per channel, you have the power to shape each input's character to perfection.

Lush, Full-Bodied Tone

While the Signature Preamps' neutral setting lets every nuance shine through transparently, you can also dial in rich analog warmth reminiscent of high-end mixing consoles. The analog-modeled harmonic enhancer adds musical overtones and pleasing saturation without sacrificing punch or clarity. This lush, full-bodied "console" sound gives your vocals, guitars, keys and more an authoritative, studio-refined presence in the live mix.

Crystal-Clear Outputs

Whether feeding stage wedges, in-ear transmitters or front-of-house speakers, IONIC 16's 12 line outputs deliver impeccable signal integrity. You have the option to select the optimal output level—18dBu for lower levels or a hot 24dBu for driving amps and active speakers. Two independent headphone outputs make it easy to monitor during setup. Stereo AES inputs/outputs expand your connectivity options for integrating digital gear.

Road-Proven Design, Seamless Waves Integration

The IONIC 16's rugged, rack-mountable 2U chassis is built to withstand the rigors of live touring yet remains lightweight and easily portable. Setup is simple—just connect it to your computer via Ethernet and the Waves eMotion LV1 for a fully integrated front-of-house/monitor solution with powerful plugin processing. With its premium audio quality and effortless operation, the Waves IONIC 16 is a game-changer for discerning engineers and touring bands.
