The Seagull Maritime SWS mahogany GT dreadnought acoustic-electric guitar features all-solid wood construction, with a select pressure-tested solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. The finish gives it a rich and vintage look, accented by the gloss top (GT) and satin sheen of the semi-gloss back and sides. The Seagull custom polished finish provides excellent protection while also being extremely light and elastic—this is a crucial aspect of both the guitar’s sound and its ability to age, as a thick finish muffles the vibration and blocks aging. The Maritime SWS includes a Fishman Presys II onboard preamp with volume, tone shaping and phase controls, as well as a low battery indicator.
