    Just take it apart and remove all the foam in between the sensor and the kick pedal, you could leave a little but I removed it all and wrapped a microfiber cloth around it, I also modified the hi-hat pedal making the distance between the sensor shorter with a piece of metal screwed in

    A very good budget kick drum pad that I used for my Roland TD-17. Be aware though that the accompanied free kick patch is absolutely terrible and will destroy the mesh. I caught it early on before the patch destroyed it and replace it with something better like an Evans patch.
