Description

The key to the Legacy mahogany 3-piece Pro Beat's classic tone begins with a cross-laminated American poplar center ply to lend focus to the warm rich low-end "woody" tones of inner/outer mahogany plies. To be exact, it's the combination of its 1/16" mahogany outer ply, 1/8" poplar core ply, 1/16" mahogany inner ply with 1/4" solid maple reinforcement rings that give it its rich character. This unique shell combination is further stabilized by a specially rounded bearing edge with 1/4" solid maple reinforcement rings.

Legacy mahogany is the drum tone you’ve been hearing for decades on classic recordings from jazz to rock. You still hear these tones today on more recordings than any other brand. The “Pro Beat” outfit consists of a 24x16" bass drum, 13x9" rack tom and 16x16" floor tom.
