The Gator Cases GTSA Series molded Gibson Les Paul guitar case provides airline-ready protection for Les Paul and similar single-cutaway electric guitars. Constructed from ATA-rated military-grade molded polyethylene, this rugged flight case is designed to withstand the demands of touring, air travel and frequent transport. A TSA-accepted locking center latch with red release trigger allows secure inspection during airline travel, while reinforced latch housings and a continuous valance add durability. Designed and supported in the United States by Gator’s Tampa, Florida team, the GTSA Series offers dependable protection for players traveling with their instruments.

Protective Plush Interior With Stabilizing Neck Support

This Gator case fits Les Paul and similar single-cutaway electric guitars. Inside, an EPS foam interior nest-lined with plush fabric cushions the guitar and helps protect it from movement during transport. An extended-reach neck cradle supports the neck for added stability, helping keep the instrument properly positioned inside the case. Finally, the ergonomic injection-molded handle provides a balanced grip for comfortable carrying between venues, studios and travel destinations.

    The body area of the case is not flat. The bottom of the case has an upwards slant where the neck meets the body so the neck sticks up in the air and you can't even close the case.

    Will this fit a left-handed Les Paul? It looks like there is cushioning in the area of the cutaway that might interfere.

    You are correct. It's not a good fit. The interior of the case features a molded foam nest tailored to the contours of a right-handed Les Paul, including cushioning in the cutaway area.

    May be tough to answer but I have another Les Paul (a Gibson Custom) w the tradional les paul tan colored hard case and sometimes it didn't fit in the overhead bin on some airplanes that did not have a closet to put it in. Have you had any issues with customers saying this travel case won't fit in standard 737 or other larger size planes overhead bins?

    Will this fit PRS SE SC 594? I had a different case before that was for a Les Paul and my 594 SE SC Fit well. Will this Gator case for a PRS SE SC 594 ?

    Body shape: PRS Singlecuts are slightly thinner and more contoured than Gibson Les Pauls. This can sometimes cause a bit of movement in cases molded specifically for a Gibson LP. Neck angle and headstock tilt: PRS guitars generally have a different neck angle and headstock pitch. If the case is too tight or unsupportive in these areas, it could stress the neck. Body length and depth: The PRS SE SC 594 has a similar overall body length and width, but the depth may vary slightly. Many players say PRS SE Singlecuts can fit in hard cases designed for Gibson Les Pauls, but not always perfectly snug. The Gator Flight Pro V3 is a tight-molded case, so if the fit is off by even a small amount, it could create pressure points or allow movement inside. It may not be a perfect, secure fit, and might require extra padding (like a microfiber towel or foam insert).

    how will this case work with a prs 594 se single cut? I was looking at the prs multi fit cases (D1) but I'm not sure about them working either Thanks for your time

    I'm sorry but I'm not sure. Both cases will fit. You need to measure your guitar. The case is: Body Length 18.5" Body Height 3.5" Lower Bout Width 13.2" Middle Bout Width 7.5" Upper Bout Width 9.4" Overall Length 41.5".
