Multiple speaker outputs, a balanced DI, tuner output and effects loop provide flexible connectivity for stage and studio bass rigs.

Dual 600W Power Sections With Extensive Tone Control

The UK-SO-1200 uses two 600W power sections for a total of 1200W of output and flexible speaker pairing. Its 9-band EQ provides detailed control across the frequency range, while Ashdown’s Sub-Harmonic Generator adds synthesized low-frequency content beneath the original signal. A one-knob compressor provides straightforward dynamic control without adding complexity to the front-panel layout.

12AX7 Variable Valve Drive and Flexible Connectivity

A 12AX7 tube powers Ashdown’s Variable Valve Drive circuit, allowing players to blend tube-driven character and overdrive into the signal.
